2026 WCQ: Super Eagles must now focus on Zimbabwe clash – Chelle

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has called for full focus ahead of his side’s next game against the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

Nigeria revived their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying hopes with a comfortable 2-0 win over the Amavubi of Rwanda on Friday.

The West Africans moved to fourth position in Group C with six points from five games following the win.

The Super Eagles will next host Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.

Chelle said it is important for his team to be ready for the encounter against Michael Nees’ side.

“There is a second game on March 25th, so we need to be ready for this game,” the Malian said after the encounter with Rwanda.
