NPFL: Heartland target double win over Abia Warriors

Heartland are hopeful of securing back-to-back wins over oriental rivals Abia Warriors, Media Talk Africa reports.

The Naze Millionaires defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in the reverse fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium earlier in the campaign.

Both teams will lock horns again at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.

Heartland are calling on their supporters to come witness the encounter.

“It is another Oriental derby against neighbours, Abia Warriors.

“We beat Umuchineke Boys for the first time in Umuahia in the first stanza. Can we get a double win for the first time over them?,” Heartland wrote on X.

“Come to the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday by 4pm to witness it.”
