2026 WCQ: Zimbabwe will make things difficult for Super Eagles – Jalai

Zimbabwe defender Emmanuel Jalai has declared that the Warriors are braced for a difficult test against Nigeria.

Michael Nees’ side will face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles are expected to roll over the visitors, who are the only team yet to record a win in Group C.

Jalai, who plays for Zimbabwe Premier League club Dynamos FC, however, said they will give their all in the game.

“Of course, it is not going to be an easy game, but football is always different and full of surprises. We have to do our best and give our all when we face them,” the 26-year-old said in a short video posted on the official X account of the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).

“Of course, they have quality players, and we have quality players too. We have to impose ourselves on the game.”
