NPFL: We will continue to put pressure on Remo Stars – Finidi

Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George has said that the target is to win their remaining fixtures in the league to put pressure on table toppers Remo Stars.

The Pride of Rivers defeated Ikorodu City 1-0 over the weekend to close the gap on Remo Stars.

Rivers United who are second on the league table with 52 points trailed Remo Stars with five points.

Remo Stars have an outstanding game against Lobi Stars.

“We will keep pushing and put more pressure on Remo Stars,” Finidi told Rivers United’s media.

“We will definitely do our own part and watch what the outcome of their postponed fixture will be but for us we want to keep winning in the remaining fixtures in the league.”
