Lobi can still escape relegation – Coach Bulus

The Coach of Lobi Starts Football Club of Markurdi, Tony Bulus has said that his team still has the chances of surviving relegation from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

Lobi currently sits bottom of the NPFL table, with just 23 points from 30 matches, risking the fate of dropping to the Nigerian National League (NNL).

But Bulus, who spoke to journalists at Umuahia township stadium on Wednesday after his team lost 0-2 to Abia Warriors, maintained that hopes were still not lost yet as 8 games were still unplayed.

He defended his players performance in Umuahia and declared that they played well despite their loss.

Coach Bulus, who charged his players to fight on till the last match of the season, advised that the public should not write off his team’s survival chances.

“We are fighting in all games. You can see that the boys are not playing badly.

“You can say that the team will go on relegation but that is your own opinion. We can survive because nothing is impossible”, the Coach maintained.
