NPFL signs partnership deal with FRCN

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has signed a partnership deal with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the visibility and engagement with fans nationwide.

The NPFL chairman, Gbenga Elegbeleye described the partnership as a strategic initiative to enhance the popularity of Nigeria’s top-tier league both locally and internationally

Elegbeleye emphasized that Radio Nigeria’s extensive reach and longstanding reputation made the collaboration a natural fit, describing it as part of the broadcaster’s corporate social responsibility.

“I remember those days when Radio Nigeria commentators gave the league the vibe and visibility it deserved. The voice of Ernest Okonkwo will not be forgotten easily,” Elegbeleye stated after signing the deal.

“We in the NPFL want Nigerians to enjoy the best of radio commentaries again.

“This MoU will help us bring the magic of the league to homes, cars, and every football fan in the country.”
