Ligue 1: Haise banks on Moffi to help Nice earn Champions League spot

OGC Nice head coach Franck Haise hopes Terem Moffi can help the club push for a UEFA Champions League spot, Media Talk Africa reports.

Moffi returned to action for Les Aiglons in the Ligue 1 clash with AS Monaco last weekend after spending over eight months on the sidelines due to a cruciate ligament injury.

The 25-year-old was introduced in the 83rd minute of the encounter.

Nice currently occupy fourth position on the league table with 47 points from 27 games.

Haise insisted that Moffi can make the difference for the club in their fight to qualify for Europe.

“Terem made a dynamic entry. It’s going to be important for our end of season, we’re going to need to show something other than what we showed tonight,” he was quoted by the club’s official website.

“Monaco were superior to us, and first of all there’s the quality of the opponent, but we were so far from the mark that I’m just waiting for us to show our true colors against Nantes on Friday. “
