Osimhen never performs in big matches – Engin slams Galatasaray striker

Former Besiktas midfielder, Sinan Engin has criticized Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen for his inability to perform well in big games.

This in coming after Galatasaray’s 2-1 defeat to Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig encounter on Saturday.

Osimhen played the full 90 minutes but failed to inspire his team to victory against Besiktas.

His performance has drawn criticism, with Engin questioning his impact in high-profile games.

Speaking on the Assist Analysis YouTube channel, Engin said: “Osimhen can never come on stage in big matches.

“If Osimhen is worth 75 million Euros, I am worth 100 million Euros to Rafa Silva.

“When Osimhen stops, Galatasaray stops too. Osimhen needs to regain his form, especially in high-level matches. Very critical matches will be played from now on.”

Osimhen joined Galatasaray from Napoli on a loan deal which will expire at the end of the season.

The Nigeria international has contributed 20 goals and provided 4 assists in 23 league appearances for Galatasaray so far this season.
