Champions League: Vinicius Jr sends message to injured Arsenal star ahead quarter-final clash

Real Madrid superstar, Vinicius Jr, has sent a message to his countryman, Gabriel Magalhaes following his long-term injury.

The Arsenal defender sustained a season-ending injury during Arsenal’s clash with Fulham on Tuesday.

He will now miss the UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash between the Gunners and Los Blancos next week.

The Brazilian defender was substituted in the 16th minute after he went down on the pitch and was unable to continue playing against Fulham.

The Brazil International will undergo surgery and will subsequently miss the rest of the season.

Gabriel took to Instagram to share a message with fans following his injury.

He wrote, “I’ll be back soon, stronger than ever. Until then, I’ll be supporting the team every step of the way.

The Arsenal defender received lots of support from fans and his teammates.

Vinicius Jr was one of the players who responded to his national teammate, saying,

“Get well soon my brother!”
