Former Liverpool and Real Madrid winger, Steve McManaman has named Barcelona’s best player this season.
McManaman snubbed the likes of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal to name Pedri as Barcelona’s best player so far this season.
He spoke after Barcelona’s Champions League last-8 first leg 4-0 win against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night.
A brace from Robert Lewandowski and a goal each from Raphinha and Yamal gave Hansi Flick’s side the win over Dortmund in Spain.
“We speak about Barcelona’s front three [Lewandowski, Yamal and Raphinha] but Pedri is the best player they have got,” McManaman said on TNT Sports’ commentary.
“He is a lovely player. He was the child superstar and then he got that really bad injury that set him back a bit.
“But he is back now and he is been excellent this year for Barcelona. I am a huge fan of his.”
