Kaduna police nab suspects with fabricated rifles in Ikara

Police operatives in Ikara, Kaduna State, have arrested two suspects for illegal possession of locally fabricated AK-47 rifles, following a tip-off from a concerned resident.

Zagazola Makam reports that the suspects; Bajo Badun, 40, from Bam Quarters, Jos, Plateau State, and Magaji Abdullahi, 40, from Bargi Village, Bebeji LGA, Kano State were apprehended on April 16, 2025, at about 6:00 p.m.

During the operation, officers recovered two fabricated rifles marked “A/K 4y SMC.” The suspects have since provided useful intelligence, and further investigations are ongoing to track down additional collaborators.
