The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said he is sure of victory for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his vice presidential hopeful, Kashim Shettima, in the February 25 presidential election.
Sanwo-Olu made this known today following a successful final rally held in Lagos State for the APC presidential hopeful on Tuesday.
The rally, which took place a day to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s deadline for all candidates to conclude their campaigns, had in attendance the outgoing President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.)
Writing on his official Instagram account, the Lagos State governor, who is also seeking a second term, thanked Lagosians for their overwhelming support and for keeping faith with the party and their presidential candidate.
He however urged supporters to come out and vote this Saturday during the presidential polls.
He said, “On Saturday, we have another opportunity to consolidate the support which you have shown our party. I urge you all to troop to your polling stations and massively vote for the man who has the capacity to take the country to a different level of development.
“Let’s walk this talk, let’s make it happen. With your support, I have no doubt the APC will be victorious.
“Thank you once again and God bless you.”
