The All Progressives Congress, APC, primaries in Ward H1, Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Epe, Lagos State, were abruptly disrupted on Saturday following a fight that broke out between agents of rival aspirants.

Media Talk Africa gathered that the fracas began when an agent, identified as Michael Adesina, allegedly snatched the ballot box and tore the voting papers after sensing that his preferred candidate was losing.

His actions reportedly infuriated other agents at the polling unit, leading to a physical confrontation.

The fight quickly escalated despite the presence of police officers at the venue.

At least four persons were injured, including a female participant.

Party officials and security personnel are currently working to restore order and prevent further escalation.
