Kano NNPP House Of Reps candidate dies four days to election

The New Nigeria Peoples Party House of Representatives candidate for the Wudil-Garko federal constituency in Kano State, Kamilu Ado Isa is dead.

The former Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, on Monday died days before the 2023 general election after a brief illness.

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NNPP presidential candidate, who, in a condolence message to his family, described his demise as a huge vacuum that cannot be replaced, noted that the candidate dedicated his time, energy and wealth to the success of the party and his immediate community, praying for God Almighty to forgive his shortcomings.

β€œI am saddened by the loss. May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcoming and grant him eternal peace. My condolences to his family, the NNPP Kano Chapter and friends, ” he stated.

The deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites.
