2027: No decision yet - Atiku’s coalition denies adopting ADC, appointing Lukman

As the coalition to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027 continues to gain momentum, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s camp has declared that Nigerians are already joining the movement.

Paul Ibe, Media Adviser to Atiku, said in a chat with Vanguard on Sunday that the All Progressives Congress APC is already fidgeting over the alignment of key opposition figures in the coalition.

Ibe expressed optimism that the coalition, which according to him, represents a formidable platform will sack the ruling party in 2027.

“They’re scared because they know the coalition represents a formidable platform that could remove this administration.

Even if some leaders defect to their political party, the reality is that Nigerians are defecting to the coalition. It embodies their aspiration, a platform to end this failed government,” he said.

Ibe further stated that once everything about the coalition is finalised and the dotted lines are signed, “Nigerians will eagerly board this train”.

“That will mark their defection, far more overwhelming than what’s happening with the APC,” Ibe said.
