Voters at the Ajiya Ward, Ibrahim Attah Road Polling Unit, 012 of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, were thrown into celebration on Saturday over the victory of the former vice president. Atiku scored 282 votes out of the 350 total votes cast, leaving Bola Tinubu, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso in second, third and fourth places respectively. Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress garnered 57 votes, while Obi and Kwankwaso of the Labour Party scored six and one vote respectively. Of the 350 total votes cast, four were declared invalid. Shortly after the declaration of the result, chants of Sai Waziri filled the air as supporters, obviously happy with the electoral outcome, sang and danced their way in different directions. ..Details shortly
