Renowned Nigerian Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, has dismissed rumors of a reconciliation with his estranged wife, Fathia Titi Marshall, stating that she is no longer a part of his life. The 68-year-old singer’s statement comes amidst speculation of a crisis in his current marriage to Aderopo Emmanuella.
Reports had surfaced two weeks ago, following the Sallah celebration, suggesting that Kwam 1’s alleged reunion with Titi Marshall and her children had led to Emmanuella moving out of his house. However, in an exclusive interview with journalist Stella Dimoko-Korkus, Kwam 1 denied any reconciliation with Titi Marshall. He emphasized that his relationship with Emmanuella remains intact, saying, “I’m not estranged with Emmanuella. We don’t have any problems.”
Kwam 1 attributed any potential issues in his relationship with Emmanuella to her insistence on being active on social media, despite his advice to focus on her business. He noted, “Emmanuella brought this upon herself because I have told her to leave social media and concentrate on her business. But I guess she didn’t like it that way.” The singer also highlighted that Emmanuella is at a stage in her life where she should be prioritizing her family and business over social media, given that she already has two grown children in university and a third soon to join them.
Regarding Titi Marshall, Kwam 1 reaffirmed that she is no longer a part of his life, although he remains committed to their three children. He stated, “Titi Marshall is gone forever, but I can’t shut my eyes out on the 3 children we shared together because she is gone.” Kwam 1 also clarified that he has no intentions of taking a new wife, confirming that Emmanuella is his only wife.
It’s worth noting that Kwam 1 was previously married to Titi Marshall, whom he wed in 2018 before leaving her to marry Emmanuella in 2021.
