2027: Gov Okpebholo promises Tinubu 2.5million votes

Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, has vowed to garner 2.5million votes as President Bola Tinubu seeks to be re-elected in 2027.

According to Okpebholo, the votes would act as a gesture of gratitude for the progress and improvements seen throughout the state during his leadership.

Okpebholo stated this on Monday, while addressing his supporters at the Okaijesan Town Hall in Irrua, in the Esan Central Local Government Area, during an event where he welcomed thousands of individuals who defected from the PDP to APC.

“In 2027, we will reward President Tinubu’s love for Edo with 2.5 million votes,” he said.

“The people have spoken through their actions.

“Edo is APC, and APC is the vehicle of our development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“I will not fail you.”
