The Lagos State-owned oil and gas corporation, IBILE Oil and Gas, has announced that it has received certifications in quality management systems, occupational health and safety management systems, and environmental management systems. The corporation disclosed that it holds the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
In a statement, IBILE Oil and Gas emphasized that these certifications reflect its commitment to providing high-quality product delivery, trusted service, and responsible operations. The corporation aims to ensure minimal environmental impact while demonstrating a duty of care to its customers and stakeholders. “We are committed to ensuring service delivery is done on behalf of Lagos State and in alignment with the agenda of Governor Babajide Olusola’s administration,” the statement noted.
Furthermore, the ISO certifications—ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018—serve as a testament to the foundation and structure of IBILE’s quality system and its drive for excellence. Established by law in 2013, IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation is dedicated to investing in and engaging with energy activities across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the industry. The name “IBILE” is an acronym representing the five divisions of Lagos State: Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos, and Epe.
