The Labour Party has won seven House of Representatives seats in Enugu State.

Media Talk Africa had earlier reported that the party won the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency election.

Other Federal Constituencies won by Labour Party include Enugu East/Isi-Uzo, where Prof. Paul Nnamchi defeated incumbent Reps member, Cornelius Nnaji.

It is the same in Enugu North/Enugu South. Chimaobi Atu of LP defeated PDP Reps member, Offor Chukwuegbo.

In other results, the LP also won Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Reps seat.

Nwodo Chijioke of LP defeated the incumbent lawmaker, Mr. Martins Oke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

For Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, Mr. Dennis Agbo of the LP was also declared the winner.

Agbo, who was in the Green Chamber between 2015 and 2019 polled 28870 votes to defeat the serving PDP Reps member, Atigwe Simon who got 14229 votes.

Aninri/Awgu/Oji River, as well as Udi/Ezeagu also went to LP. Festus Uzor, a former Chief of Staff to the Enugu State Governor, lost the election.
