Uche Ekwunife, the senator representing the Anambra Central Senatorial District and the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the recent election, has extended her congratulations to Victor Umeh, the winner of the election. Umeh, a candidate from the Labour Party, secured victory by receiving 103,608 votes, defeating both Ekwunife and Dozie Nwankwo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

In her congratulatory message, which was released on Tuesday and signed by her media aide, Kingsley Ubani, Ekwunife expressed her acceptance of the election results. She encouraged her constituents and key stakeholders in the region to support the senator-elect as he prepares to represent them in the 10th Senate.

Ekwunife expressed gratitude to God for His guidance and protection throughout the lengthy and intense campaign season, as well as for the peaceful conduct of the election. She also acknowledged the efforts of her campaign organization, various support groups, and individuals who worked diligently in support of her candidacy.

Furthermore, she urged her supporters to accept the election outcome in good faith. Ekwunife reassured the people of Anambra Central that the election results would not diminish her spirit or commitment to providing quality and effective representation in the remaining months of her term. She reiterated her determination to finish strongly and fulfill her promises to the constituents.
