APC Leader Urges Youths To End APGA Dominance

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has intensified its efforts to end the 19-year dominance of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State, with a call to action from the Chairman of the APC National Reconciliation Committee, Johnbosco Onunkwo. He urged the party’s youths to take the lead in achieving this goal, emphasizing the importance of grassroots mobilization and a unified approach.

Onunkwo made this call while receiving an honorary award as Grand Patron of the APC Youth League during the inauguration of its newly elected executive council at the APC State Secretariat in Awka. He was represented by his media spokesperson, Emmanuel Ifediata, who conveyed the chairman’s message to the gathering. The unification of Anambra youths under the APC Youth League was described as a decisive step towards a youth-focused government in the state.

The APC chieftain stressed the need for the youths to remain steadfast and avoid distractions, prioritizing the collective interest of Anambra youths over personal gains. He emphasized that real victory would come from mobilizing support at the grassroots level, urging the new executive to take the campaign back to villages, towns, and wards. The mission, as outlined by Onunkwo, is to unite, mobilize, and deliver an APC victory for the future of Anambra youth.

The APC’s efforts to gain traction in Anambra State are significant, given the state’s political landscape. The party’s youth wing is seen as a crucial component in its strategy to challenge APGA’s long-standing dominance. By mobilizing the youths and focusing on grassroots engagement, the APC aims to build a strong support base and increase its chances of success in future elections.

The inauguration of the APC Youth League’s executive council marks an important step in the party’s efforts to reinvigorate its presence in Anambra State. As the party moves forward with its campaign, it will be crucial to maintain a unified front and build on the momentum generated by the youths. The outcome of these efforts will be closely watched, as it has the potential to shape the political landscape of Anambra State and beyond.
