Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Big Soso expressed surprise at her eviction, saying she never expected to be voted out. In an interview with Naija FM in Lagos, she revealed that she was so confident she would avoid eviction that she didn’t even pack a bag. Instead, she spent her final hours in the house cleaning and making sure everything was in order, leaving in the same clothes she wore when she entered six weeks earlier. “I was shocked when my name was mentioned,” she said. “I didn’t expect it.”
Despite the unexpected departure, Soso thanked everyone for the experience, describing her time in the house as remarkable. She was one of three contestants evicted on Sunday, alongside Ivatar and Doris, bringing her journey in the Big Brother Naija house to an end. The reality show, now in its tenth season, airs on African television channels and streaming platforms, featuring contestants living together under constant camera and microphone surveillance. Each week, the public votes, and those with the fewest votes are eliminated.
Soso’s eviction underscores the unpredictable nature of the competition, where any contestant can be voted out at any time. As the show progresses, the remaining housemates will face heightened competition and new challenges as they vie for the top prize. With her time on the show concluded, Big Soso will likely reflect on the lessons she learned during her stint in the Big Brother Naija house.
