Dwayne Johnson, known in the ring as The Rock, is not expected to return to WWE for Survivor Series: WarGames in November. This clarification comes amid ongoing rumors about his wrestling future. Johnson, a former WWE champion, has not appeared in a wrestling capacity since his stint at the Elimination Chamber earlier this year.

Recently, Johnson attracted attention for his leaner physique, which he showcased at the Venice Film Festival. Fans speculated that his weight loss might signal a comeback to the ring, but PWInsider reports that his focus remains on his Hollywood career. He has a packed schedule of upcoming films, including a lead role in a Martin Scorsese‑directed crime drama set in Hawaii.

Ringside News confirmed that there are no internal discussions about Johnson appearing at Survivor Series: WarGames, effectively putting fan‑driven rumors on social media to rest. Johnson himself has spoken about his body transformation, noting that he gained 30 pounds for a previous film role and is now slimming down for a new project. In an interview with SPORTbible, he explained, “I gained 30 pounds to play Mark Kerr and then came back down after that to my normal weight of around 250 or so. Now I’m in the process of slimming down, where I play a 70‑something‑year‑old.”

While Johnson is not part of WWE’s creative plans for the foreseeable future, there are reports that Saudi Arabia is urging him to wrestle at WrestleMania 43. For now, however, his primary focus remains on his Hollywood endeavors.
