Actor Tyrese Gibson surrendered to authorities in Fulton County, Georgia, as part of an animal‑cruelty investigation. The case stems from a September 18 incident in which Gibson’s four Cane Corso dogs attacked and killed a neighbor’s small spaniel. A warrant for Gibson’s arrest was issued a week before his surrender, and he was released the same day on a $20,000 pre‑negotiated consent bond.
Gibson’s attorney, Gabe Banks, said the actor has fully cooperated with law enforcement and will continue to do so. Captain Nicole Dwyer of the police department acknowledged Gibson’s voluntary surrender and expressed satisfaction that he turned himself in.
