A group of advocates for the Peoples Democratic Party, known as PDP Advocates for Peace and Justice, has expressed optimism about the party’s future following the nomination of Kabiru Tanimu Turaki as the consensus candidate for national chairmanship. Turaki, a former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, was selected by the party’s Northern elders and other stakeholders.
