Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has urged the residents of the state to support candidates from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the upcoming House of Assembly election scheduled for March 11. He emphasized that voting for APGA candidates is crucial for maintaining the momentum of development across all 21 Local Government Areas in Anambra State.

Governor Soludo made this appeal through his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, during a press briefing in Awka on Friday. He noted that Anambra is one of the states where only House of Assembly elections will be held. The governor expressed that strong support for APGA candidates would empower him to continue his work and attract further dividends of democracy to the state.

Soludo stated, “If we have APGA in control of the state Assembly, we will continue to do our jobs unhindered. But if the opposition is allowed to have their way, it means that development will be stalled.” He further assured the people that if they vote for APGA candidates, Anambra State will become the most secure, business-friendly, livable, and prosperous state in Nigeria by the end of his first term in office.

In addition, the governor appealed to the media to focus on reporting issues that will help sustain the existing peace in the state.
