The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State recently held a strategic meeting with its 27 Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen to strengthen the party’s unity and preparedness for the 2027 general elections. The gathering took place at the party’s office in New Owerri and underscored the leaders’ commitment to securing a decisive victory in the upcoming polls.
State Chairman James Okoroma highlighted the party’s growing influence and internal cohesion during the meeting. He reviewed recent progress, noting that the ongoing membership drive and revalidation exercise have bolstered the ADC’s presence in the state. Okoroma praised the LGA Chairmen for their leadership and effective coordination in the distribution and return of Ward Party Registers, commending their dedication to a peaceful and efficient process.
Emphasizing the importance of grassroots mobilization, Okoroma urged party leaders to demonstrate integrity, inclusiveness, and commitment. He reiterated that expanding the party’s reach and attracting more members remain central priorities for the ADC.
