Uganda has announced its provisional squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Head coach Paul Put named a 30‑player roster that includes four goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders and 12 forwards. The Belgian coach has until 11 December to trim the list to the required 28 players.

The squad will depart Entebbe on Sunday for their final preparations ahead of the tournament. Uganda will face a tough challenge in Group C, where they will meet Tunisia, Tanzania and Nigeria’s Super Eagles. Their opening fixture is against Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, featuring 24 teams from across the continent, is scheduled for the coming months, although the exact dates have not yet been confirmed. Selecting the squad is a crucial step in Uganda’s preparations as they aim to make a strong impression on the continental stage.
