South African singer Tyla has been named the top Billboard U.S. Afrobeats artist of the year, edging out prominent Nigerian acts such as Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy. The honor comes from Billboard’s newly released year‑end charts, specifically the U.S. Afrobeats Songs Artists 2025 list. Tyla holds the number‑one spot, followed by Wizkid, Rema, Davido and Burna Boy in second through fifth places, respectively.

The top ten is further diversified by American‑Ghanaian singer Moliy and Nigerian artists Asake, Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez and BNXN. Positions eleven through twenty feature a mix of talent, including Fola, Tems, Olamide, Fido, Ayra Starr, Omah Lay, Chella, Kizz Daniel, Zinoleesky and T.I Blaze. British‑Nigerian stars Odeal, Young John, Odumodublvck, Kunmie and Ayo Maff also appear on the chart, rounding out the list.
