The Lagos State Police Command has arrested popular social‑media influencer Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, after a video surfaced showing him driving recklessly and crashing during a live broadcast on 14 December 2025. The incident sparked widespread condemnation and prompted the police to act swiftly.
In a statement, Police Public Relations Officer SP Abimbola Adebisi said the arrest was necessary to prevent further harm and protect public safety.
