The Peoples Democratic Party has established a caretaker committee to oversee its affairs in Zamfara State, following approval from the National Working Committee. The establishment of the caretaker committee is in line with Section 21(2)(a-b) of the party’s constitution, which provides for such measures in exceptional circumstances. The move is aimed at maintaining order and continuity within the party’s state chapter.
