The TECNO Glory Night Awards, a joint initiative with TikTok Live and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), recently celebrated the creative prowess of pan‑African key opinion leaders (KOLs) empowered by TECNO’s artificial‑intelligence (AI) technology. Held in Morocco, the event was part of TECNO’s “Power Your Moment” campaign, which launched during the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. The campaign’s theme resonated with KOLs across the continent, inspiring a vast array of content that showcases their “power moments.”

As the official global partner of AFCON, TECNO gathered Africa’s leading digital voices for a landmark celebration, recognizing influencers who embody the spirit of “Power Your Moment” through creativity, authenticity, and cultural impact. The awards ceremony presented five major categories, each acknowledging a unique dimension of creative excellence. Winners hailed from Nigeria, Tanzania, Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda, Senegal and other nations, and were honored for exceptional storytelling, visual artistry, creative spark, outstanding data performance, and long‑term partnership with TECNO’s brand philosophy.

The winners were selected through the #MyPowerMoment campaign, a continent‑wide call for entries that invited creators to submit original photo or video content inspired by one of four themes: Power your Glory, Power your Rise, Power your Joy, and Power your Creativity. Submissions captured moments of personal transformation, pure happiness, or imagination‑driven expression, reflecting the diversity of stories that define African digital culture today.

Beyond celebrating achievement, the TECNO Glory Night Awards reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to empowering Africa’s creative ecosystem. By bringing together influencers from across the continent at AFCON, TECNO strengthened the bridge between sport, technology, and culture. The brand’s investment in the creator community aligns with its ambition to integrate its technology offerings with the cultural forces shaping African markets.
