2027: No imposition, we'll reform ADC bureaucracy – David Mark

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on Nigerians to join its mission to improve the country’s situation. In a New Year message, the party’s National Chairman, Senator David Mark, framed the appeal as part of the ADC’s commitment to patriotism and service to the people.

Senator Mark acknowledged the challenges Nigerians faced in 2025, citing rising costs of living, food, basic medicines and transportation. He criticized the current government’s policies, particularly the imposition of stringent taxes, which he said would worsen conditions and “renew hopelessness” among citizens. Despite these difficulties, Mark expressed confidence in the power of the people to create a better Nigeria.

He noted that 2025 was a tough year for many, but also highlighted a significant development: the launch of an opposition coalition under the ADC on July 2. Since the coalition’s announcement, the party has received overwhelming support and enthusiasm from ordinary Nigerians across the country.

Mark emphasized that the ADC is committed to being on the “good side of history” and urged citizens to set aside doubts and join the party’s mission. While acknowledging that the party is not perfect, he assured Nigerians of its sense of duty and dedication to serving the people.

The ADC’s call to action comes at a time when many Nigerians are seeking alternative solutions to the nation’s challenges. With a focus on patriotism and service, the party aims to provide a platform for citizens to unite and work toward a brighter future for Nigeria, a message that is likely to resonate with those yearning for positive change.
