Police Public Relations Officer DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed in a statement that Kayode was charged at the Sagamu Magistrate Court on Friday, with the case adjourned to 20 January 2026. The accident involved a Lexus SUV driven by Kayode, and the police investigation led to his arrest and subsequent charging.
