Kano State Hospitals Management Board has initiated an investigation into the alleged negligence surrounding the death of Aishatu Umar, a patient who passed away at the Abubakar Imam Urology Centre in Kano. The Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Mansur Nagoda, has directed a thorough probe into the circumstances of the incident, amid growing public concern.
According to a statement released by the board’s Public Relations Officer, Samira Suleiman, the management is aware of reports describing the death as distressing.
