Smart Schools Hailed by Katsina Gov on Enugu Gov’s Birthday

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has congratulated his Enugu State counterpart, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on the occasion of his 54th birthday, publicly acknowledging the Enugu leader’s policy initiatives and developmental focus.

In a statement, Governor Radda commended Governor Mbah’s administration for its significant investment in education, specifically citing the Smart Green Schools Initiative. The program aims to establish 260 modern, technology-equipped schools across all wards in Enugu State, a project Governor Radda described as a clear demonstration of dedication to improving learning standards and equitable access to quality education.

Beyond education, Governor Radda noted Enugu State’s recent infrastructural development and the implementation of pro-business policies. He characterized these steps as crucial drivers of economic growth within the state, adding that such forward-looking governance strategies contribute positively to Nigeria’s broader economic landscape and provide a replicable model for other subnational entities.

The Katsina Governor also drew a parallel between Enugu’s educational drive and similar priorities within his own administration. He highlighted that his government’s efforts to upgrade educational infrastructure and enhance development in Katsina State align with the vision underscored by Governor Mbah’s initiatives.

Governor Radda concluded by extending wishes for Governor Mbah’s continued good health and sustained success in his service to Enugu State and the nation.

The cross-state recognition underscores a shared understanding among Nigerian state governors that targeted investments in foundational sectors like education, coupled with conducive economic policies, are vital for sustainable national development. Governor Mbah’s birthday has thus been marked not only by personal congratulations but also by acknowledgment of a governance approach focused on long-term human capital and economic advancement.
