Arsenal re‑established their five‑point cushion at the top of the Premier League with a comfortable 3‑0 win at Fulham. Leandro Trossard was directly involved in all three goals, setting up Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Ødegaard. The Gunners dominated Craven Cottage, while Fulham struggled to find any foothold, especially after the absence of João Palhinha, who was serving a two‑match ban.

The first goal came in the 21st minute when Magalhães headed home from a Trossard corner. Five minutes later, Martinelli added a second after a swift break down the left, again finishing from a Trossard cross. Arsenal’s pressure continued, and just before half‑time Ødegaard secured the victory with a low finish from a cross on the right, making the score 3‑0.

Fulham had a brief moment of promise just before the break when Aaron Ramsdale’s distribution was intercepted by Andreas Pereira, but Pereira’s shot went over the bar. In the second half, the home side showed a little more spirit but could not create any clear chances. Ramsdale was called into action in the 69th minute, making a good save from Bobby Decordova‑Reid, only for Aleksandar Mitrović to hit the crossbar from the resulting corner.

Earlier in the match, Arsenal thought they had taken the lead when Antonee Robinson inadvertently turned a Bernd Leno punch into his own net, but the goal was disallowed after a lengthy VAR review ruled Martinelli offside in the build‑up. Leno later made a low save to deny Granit Xhaka’s drive, underscoring Arsenal’s defensive composure.

The win was a routine triumph for the north‑London club, who are pushing to win their first league title since the 2003‑04 season, following recent dramatic victories such as the last‑gasp win against Bournemouth that sparked wild celebrations among Arsenal players and staff.
