APC raised bar of governance in Lagos, Ogun — Rep-elect

Governors Dapo Abiodun and Babajide Sanwo‑Olu of Ogun and Lagos states, respectively, were highlighted in a recent statement by APC chieftain Gboyega Isiaka. Isiaka, the Reps‑elect for Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency in Ogun State, asserted that the All Progressives Congress has raised the bar of governance and fostered unity across Nigeria, particularly in Ogun and Lagos.

In his Monday statement, Isiaka urged Lagos residents to support Governor Babajide Sanwo‑Olu’s re‑election bid and called for backing of Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun’s second‑term campaign. He explained that his political structure in Ogun, “The Believe Movement,” will work actively and selflessly to ensure Governor Abiodun’s re‑election, allowing the continuation of the laudable projects and policies he has initiated in the gateway state. Isiaka added that a return to office would enable Abiodun to expand developmental projects further.

Regarding Sanwo‑Olu, Isiaka noted that the governor’s developmental strides over the past four years merit a second term. He emphasized that supporting Sanwo‑Olu would extend the lofty policies of his administration and keep Lagos on a path of growth and sustainable development. “I am wholeheartedly endorsing the bid of Governor Babajide Sanwo‑Olu for a second term,” Isiaka declared, praising the governor’s selfless stewardship, exemplary leadership, forthrightness, and commitment to good governance.

Isiaka concluded, “Sanwo‑Olu has raised the bar of governance, fostered unity, and rekindled hope for a better future in Lagos through his people‑centred government. He has done enough in the last four years to engender socio‑economic development, and his infrastructure projects have helped Lagos maintain its status as a centre of excellence. While his administration is not perfect, it has performed creditably and deserves a second term. As they say, one good turn deserves another. I urge voters in Lagos to support the governor to complete the good work he has started in his second term.”
