What makes Peter Obi role model – Catholic Priest, Fr Kelvin

A Nigerian Catholic missionary priest serving in Gambia, Rev Fr Kelvin Ugwu, has said the candidate of the Labour Party in the just concluded presidential election, Peter Obi’s unique approach to issues has placed him as a role model to several Nigerians.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Fr Kelvin, a staunch supporter of the LP candidate, said Obi has via his actions and moves, exemplified the teachings of the Holy Bible.

According to Fr Kelvin, Obi’s response to critics and criticisms embodies the Christian faith.

He said, “Peter Obi is a perfect example of a man in public life who exemplifies and embodies the Christian and biblical teachings in his actions, material possessions, response to those against him, and faith that does not remove the place of hard work, strategic planning, justice, and prudence. As a priest, I am personally proud of him.

“He is someone I can confidently cite as an example and a role model to those who are looking for one who is truly a Christian at heart and in action and even more, a Catholic. May God bless him and protect him from all evil”.
