Love Island USA Season 8 Winners Bryce Trinity Split 100k Prize

The Season 8 finale of Love Island USA aired on 12 July 2026, with host Ariana Madix revealing the results in reverse order, a signature pacing that stretched the suspense until only two couples remained. Viewers crowned Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum as winners after a 32-day journey that began with their coupling on Day 1. The pair, a 30-year-old DJ and former model from Los Angeles and a 22-year-old model from Newport News, Virginia, who left a hardware store job for the villa, split the $100,000 prize automatically.

Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt secured second place in what producers called the season’s most compelling comeback narrative. Harvey, 23, remained loyal to KC Chandler through Casa Amor only to watch him recouple with Tierra “Titi” Davis. Schmidt, 28, had already been dumped but returned via America’s vote and walked straight back to Harvey. Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea finished third despite a volatile run that included detours through Corbin, Corey, Sol and Amora. Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou placed fourth; Bosse, the season’s first bombshell, stole Zach on the premiere, while Georgiou, from Birmingham in the UK, is the younger brother of Season 7’s first dumped islander.

Two couples were eliminated in Episode 33, just before finale night. Chandler and Davis left together after making their relationship official, as did Kenzie Annis and Dylan Wrona, who said they intended to continue dating outside the villa. Six couples entered the final week; only four reached the live finale.

The public decided every outcome. There was no jury and no islander vote. First, viewers voted to determine the final four, dumping the two lowest-polling couples. Then, during a four-hour window on Friday 10 July, viewers voted again to pick the winners from the remaining four. Madix announced the result on Sunday night after each couple completed a final date and delivered a closing speech.

Notably, the traditional envelope ceremony was absent. In previous seasons, the winning couple each received an envelope — one containing the $100,000, the other empty — forcing a split-or-steal decision. Season 8 dropped the twist entirely, awarding the prize as an automatic split. Viewers reacted with anger, and Peacock has not explained the change.

The night concluded with the customary pool plunge. All four finalist couples jumped into the villa’s pool together, embracing while soaking wet, a ritual that has closed every season regardless of the drama preceding it.

Looking ahead, the Season 8 reunion is scheduled for 31 August 2026, hosted by Madix and Andy Cohen. In 2027, Love Island: Beyond the Villa will return for a third season, with casting announcements expected later this year.
