Delightree, a Denver-based startup building an artificial intelligence operating system for multi-unit franchise businesses, has raised $25 million in a funding round led by Accel. Existing investors Emergent, Timber Grove Ventures and Innovius also participated.
The company said the capital will accelerate hiring across engineering, product and commercial teams while expanding its AI platform into new verticals including restaurants, fitness, wellness, retail, Healthcare and home services.
Delightree’s platform consolidates training, compliance, communications, audits and location-launch workflows into a single operational layer. The company reports that revenue has grown nearly twentyfold since launch just over two years ago, with the software now deployed across more than 6,000 locations in the United States. Customers include Solidcore, Dunn Brothers Coffee, Jetset, Five Star Franchising, Mooyah Burgers and Beem Light Sauna.
According to Delightree, businesses using its platform can open new locations two to three months faster than traditional processes, cutting launch timelines by more than 25 percent. Frontline employees recover up to 30 percent of their working time through workflow automation and centralised operations.
Co-founder Madhulika Mukherjee said the long-term goal is to give smaller franchise operators access to sophisticated operational technology that has historically been reserved for large enterprise chains. The company is developing AI assistants designed to identify issues, assign tasks, track progress and recommend operational improvements automatically.
Delightree sees significant growth potential across industries employing millions of frontline workers. The platform aims to simplify management for businesses operating numerous locations while improving operational visibility and consistency without adding management layers.
The funding reflects growing investor confidence in AI-driven operational tools for distributed businesses.
