Ahead of the March 18, Governorship and Houses of Assembly polls, the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Kolo Yusuf, Wednesday, warned troublemakers to desist from anything capable of causing a breach of public peace and security.

Also, the commissioner has beefed up security in all the nooks and crannies of the state to preempt any forms of insecurity during and after the elections.

The State Police Command PRO, SP, Mohammed Shehu disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in the state.

Media Talk Africa learnt Yusuf said this while holding a strategic meeting with heads of security agencies and some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

However, the CP with his counterparts have agreed to improve and sustain the working synergy to ensure full security and safety of the state to provide a conducive environment for free, fair, credible and peaceful elections.
