VibeIQ has secured $22.5 million in growth financing to expand its artificial intelligence platform that helps consumer brands make better product decisions before development begins. The round was led by Volition Capital, with participation from existing investor Venture Guides.
The funding will support continued product development, deeper system integrations, team expansion and growth across apparel, footwear, consumer goods and private-label retail. Volition Capital Managing Partner Roger Hurwitz said artificial intelligence is creating an opportunity to transform how consumer brands approach product decisions.
VibeIQ’s platform connects creative concepts with commercial targets, margin information, regional adoption data and product development status within a single environment. This allows merchandising, design and product development teams to evaluate ideas earlier while reducing costly changes during later stages.
Consumer brands typically rely on separate systems for design, financial planning, product development and sales. Decisions about product selection and creative direction often happen across disconnected documents and processes. VibeIQ aims to create a shared decision layer before those choices become expensive downstream commitments.
Embedded artificial intelligence helps identify assortment gaps, duplicated products, Trade-offs and potential margin risks. Teams can then determine which products should proceed, change or be removed before development and sourcing costs increase. The company said customers have reduced planned stock-keeping units and eliminated thousands of hours of manual work.
Brands using the platform include Vera Bradley, New Balance, Converse and Kizik. Founder and Chief Executive Brian Lindauer said faster product creation does not automatically result in better product lines. He said brands need shared creative and commercial context to determine what should exist and what should be changed or removed.
The platform works alongside existing product lifecycle management, planning and enterprise systems, allowing approved decisions to move into execution without replacing systems already used by product teams. This approach is increasingly relevant as generative artificial intelligence enables brands to produce more product concepts and creative assets at greater speed. Without effective decision-making infrastructure, higher production volume can also increase development costs.
VibeIQ will use the new capital to deepen its technology and expand integrations with systems used by consumer brands. The company also plans to grow its team as it enters additional product categories and expands its customer base. Its platform is designed to support merchandising, planning, design, product development and regional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
By connecting creative intent with commercial information before development begins, the company aims to help brands reduce unnecessary products, improve margins and make faster decisions. As artificial intelligence continues changing how consumer products are conceived and developed, VibeIQ is positioning its platform as the decision layer that determines which ideas ultimately reach the market.
