Hours to the Saturday governorship election, Seye Dairo, Campaign Director-General, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, better known as Jandor, has resigned.
Dairo, who made the disclosure via a letter, failed to give any reason for taking the action.
However, in the letter, Dairo expressed appreciation to Jandor for giving him the opportunity to serve as the campaign DG of the party ahead of the election.
Media Talk Africa reports that several chieftains of the party had hitherto dumped the PDP candidate to form alliance with either the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, or the Labour Party.
There are indications that Dairo may be working for the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour on Saturday.
