Victor Osimhen reckons Napoli is close to winning the Scudetto following Sunday’s emphatic 4-0 win against Torino.
Luciano Spalletti’s side now enjoys a 21-point lead over second-placed Lazio following the win at the Stadio Olimpico Grande.
The Partenopei last won the title 30 years ago with the late Diego Armando Maradona playing a key role.
“We are closer to the Scudetto and we want to win it for our fans,” Osimhen told the club’s official website.
The 24-year-old scored twice against Torino to once again underline his importance to the team’s success this season.
The forward has so far registered 21 goals in 23 league appearances for Napoli this term.
