Buhari reacts to death of Rufa’i

President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the demise of Hajiya A’isha Rufa’i, the Secretary/Director of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board of the Ministry of Interior (CDCFIB).

The president made his feelings known in a statement by his Spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, on Monday in Abuja.

While expressing his deep sorrow and grief, Buhari recalled the contribution of the deceased to the Federal Civil Service as an organiser and effective administrator in all her previous roles.

He prayed for the repose of her soul and fortitude for her larger family members in Kano to bear the loss.

Meanwhile, the late A’isha received the commendation of the Minister of Interior, Ra’uf Aregbesola, for her “commitment and dedication to duty”.

The minister described her as “an example” while urging the Federal Civil Service to “assign her a higher responsibility” when the minister recommissioned the CDCFIB headquarters upon its redesign and rehabilitation by the late scribe.
