The Super Eagles have much to anticipate on Friday, beyond the three points that will separate them from every other team in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying pool. Nigerian Breweries PLC, a long‑standing supporter of Nigerian football and partner of the NFF with its Life and Goldberg products, is contributing a total of N3 million in prize money. This includes N1 million for Man of the Match, N1 million for the new Energy Moment of the Match, and N1 million for the Match Winner.

Telecommunication firm MTN is also offering N1 million for the Most Valuable Player in the clash against Guinea‑Bissau’s Wild Dogs at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. The Super Eagles will be extra motivated for this important game as they aim to climb to nine points, while the Wild Dogs remain on four. Sierra Leone sit third on the table with two points, and São Tomé and Príncipe have only one point.
