Christians in Kaduna celebrate peaceful election, pray for elected leaders

Churches in Kaduna and its environs on Sunday celebrated violent free presidential and gubernatorial elections in the state.

Media Talk Africa recalls that both Presidential and governorship elections were held in the state peacefully, even when winners were declared.

However, at Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry, North Central 2, Barnawa Kaduna, the auditorium was filled to capacity as members rejoiced, offering thanks to God for sparing the lives of members.

Assembly Pastor of the church, Mr. Sunday Moses said ” it’s a thing of Joy, that election has come and gone. Nobody, none of our members was missing as we all went to vote and came back unhurt.”

Also, at God’s Wisdom Church, Romi, General Overseer, Dr. Francis Obeta told the Congregation that God has decided to choose those who would lead the country, adding that all we need is to continuously pray for quality leadership

Also, at Living Faith Church, Kakuri, the Pastor in charge, Pastor Oyenbaji Danmus said the choice of man may not be the choice of God, for God has the overall choice over humanity.

” We have voted, and the winner has emerged. What we need are prayers for God to lead the elected representatives in a good direction. Let’s work with them, back them in prayers.” He said

At Jesus Resurrection Ministry, Sabon Tasha, the Assembly Pastor Moses Idoko told the congregation that the elected leaders need prayers and support and advice.

He told Nigerians to forget about religion, ethnic differences and pray for the elected leaders.
