U-20 AFCON: Foreign professionals to join Flying Eagles next week

Foreign-based professionals will join the Flying Eagles camp in Abuja next week ahead of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Head coach, Ladan Bosso called up 35 players for the second phase of their camping exercise on Saturday.

Bosso has also pencilled down foreign-based quartet, Ibrahim Mohammed, Ahmed Abdulahi, Lekan Oyedele and Samson Lawal for the competition.

The local players are expected to arrive Abuja on Monday.

Nigeria will submit a final 21-man squad for the U-20 AFCON on January 20.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group A with hosts Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal.

The competition will run from February 19 to March 11.
